Elizabeth Choy was a great war heroine during World War 2. She was willing to sacrifice her life for our country. She was a teacher in two schools. She never gave up although she was tortured by the Japanese. She had a very strong fighting spirit. Although she was electrocuted by the Japanese, she carried on living. I think she is a role model for us to follow.
